Mayor's Alliance Promotes Efforts for Animals on YouTube
Now there's a place on YouTube where everyone can feel like a New York animal lover! Click here to get a firsthand glimpse of the efforts being made by the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and its participating organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs in NYC.
Among the enlightening videos currently featured on the Mayor's Alliance YouTube channel is the "Collaboration for Life" docu-video that demonstrates how the Mayor' Alliance is working to save lives through targeted programs and initiatives.
Another offering is a Mayor's Alliance video that features Magnolia, Willa, Esmerelda, and other early Picasso Veterinary Fund success stories. Four television PSAs promoting pet adoption — including a Spanish-language version — that were produced by Rational Animal for the Mayor's Alliance several years ago and are still being aired regulary on local TV stations, also are featured on YouTube. Those interested in ordering the PSAs may contact Judy Molloy at TV Access (judy@tvaccess.com or 1-800-944-9134) and request the Rational Animal PSAs. For a nominal fee, TV Access can customize the PSAs with your organization's logo.
And finally, a three-part video entitled Tough Love: Socializing Feral Kittens, created by Urban Cat League (an Alliance Participating Organization) offers viewers easy-to-understand instruction on how to tame and socialize feral kittens to make them ready for adoption into homes instead of life on the streets.
If you haven't seen our videos, we hope you'll visit our little corner of YouTube and enjoy them. If you're a regular YouTube user, be sure to subscribe to our channel.
