Maddie's Fund Adoption Poster Coming in January

Come January 2007, a heart-warming new poster entitled Soul Mates will be promoting pet adoptions from shelters and rescue groups around New York City. Created and produced by Maddie's Fund, the poster captures the essence of the joyful act of adopting.

Soul Mates will be available to all Alliance Participating Organizations (APOs) as well as veterinary practices and other businesses that want to promote adoption. The posters are available in two sizes: small (11" x 17") and large (22" x 34"). An APO can display the poster in its shelter lobby or reception area, or place it on view in an adoption outlet (if permitted by the host store or business). The posters also can be displayed at adoption events and other functions, or in windows of businesses at street-level.

Although the posters feature the Maddie's Fund toll-free number for people seeking to locate a shelter or rescue group near them, customizable labels are available to organizations that want to feature their contact information on the poster.

APOs, veterinary practices, and other businesses can request a poster by e-mailing info@AnimalAllianceNYC.org.

Maddie's Fund, The Pet Rescue FoundationAbout Maddie's Fund

Maddie's Fund, The Pet Rescue Foundation is a family foundation funded by PeopleSoft and Workday Founder Dave Duffield, and his wife, Cheryl, to help create a no-kill nation. The first step is to help develop programs that guarantee loving homes for all healthy shelter dogs and cats throughout the country. The next step is to save the sick, injured and poorly behaved pets in animal shelters nationwide. Maddie's Fund is named after the family's beloved Miniature Schnauzer who passed away in 1997.
