Thankfully, the test was negative, but she did have a bad upper respiratory infection and upper GI bleeding due to parasites. Josh and Jennifer decided to name her Noelle, since she arrived on Christmas. Noelle remained at the hospital for five days, and went through lots of testing to discover what was causing her pneumonia. The Picasso Veterinary Fund of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals paid for most of Noelle’s medical care. Then, after beginning her treatment regimen, Josh introduced Noelle to his friend (and potential foster person) Kevin two days before the New Year. Kevin agreed to care for Noelle, and they quickly bonded. Kevin has officially adopted her!
