Dear Supporters:
No-Kill New York City is in sight.
We’ve mapped out exactly how to get there, and we hope you’ll join the road trip to a NYC where no healthy or treatable cat or dog is killed merely because he or she is homeless.
Our Wheels of Hope fleet of vans clocked almost 600,000 miles this year, transporting more than 12,000 animals from Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) shelters to no-kill rescue organizations, foster homes, and veterinary hospitals. Thanks to your support, we’ve driven down the number of animals killed in our city shelters from 3 out of 4 in 2002 to 1 out of 3 today.
But we still have a ways to go. Join our journey today with a donation that’s comfortable for you.
$25 helps transport 30 cats to a local no-kill shelter.
$50 helps transport 5 dogs to foster homes.
$75 helps transport 4 litters of newborn kittens or 6 senior dogs to specialized rescue groups outside the city.
$100 fills the gas tank for one of our vans.
Together we can reach our destination of No-Kill NYC!
Thanks for your support,
Jane Hoffman, President
Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals
P.S. Road trips are better when shared with friends. Consider making a gift donation for an animal lover in your life. It’s a great holiday present.
